1. This site is information, not medical advice

Everything here is general information about transitional sober housing. Aftermath Rehabilitation is not a treatment center, detox program, or clinical facility. Nothing on this site is medical advice, a diagnosis, or a treatment recommendation, and reading it or sending us a form does not create any professional relationship between you and us.

2. This site is not an emergency service

Forms and email are not monitored around the clock. If you are in danger, if someone has overdosed, or if you are thinking about suicide, call 911 or 988. Do not wait for a reply from us.

3. Nothing here is a guarantee of a place

Placement depends on a bed being available and on a resident meeting the household expectations. Neither is something we can promise in advance, and we will not pretend otherwise to get you to make contact.

4. No outcome is promised

We make no claim, express or implied, about the result of any placement. Recovery outcomes differ from person to person, and any statement on this site about how the home is run is a description of the home, not a prediction about you.

5. Rent and charges

Residents pay rent. Anything this site says about cost is general orientation; the figure that binds is the one given to you in writing before you move in, in the house agreement. Room and board in a sober living home is generally not covered by Medi-Cal or private insurance, and we do not suggest otherwise.

6. What you send us

Send only information you have the right to send. If you are enquiring on somebody else's behalf, understand that we will need to speak with them, and that we cannot discuss their information with you unless they tell us we may. Do not send us detailed medical records through a web form; our intake form asks you not to, and we mean it.

How we handle what you send is set out in the privacy notice.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use this site to break the law, to impersonate somebody, to submit forms automatically, to probe or attack the site, or to harvest information from it. We block and report abuse.

8. Our content

The text, design, code and artwork on this site belong to [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] or are used with permission. You may read, print and share pages for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy the site to pass it off as your own program, which in this industry is a thing that happens.

9. Links out

Links to outside organizations are there because they are useful. We do not control them and we are not responsible for what they contain.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, and nothing here limits your rights as a resident or a tenant.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Kern County, California.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top tells you when we last did.
